Bonnie Emge
Disciplined success

Twenty-five years in the real estate industry has taught Bonnie Emge a few things.

"If you are going to be a Realtor, you better have a passion for it," the veteran cautions newcomers. "It's a lot of work. You've got to be self-disciplined."

A native of Colorado, Emge started her real estate career in commercial property management. Ten years ago she entered the world of residential real estate. She is the owner of Metro Brokers - MG Realty in Lakewood and serves on the JCAR Board of Directors.

"It's nice being your own boss," she notes. "I've worked the corporate world and this isn't your typical 9 to 5 job."

Emge lives in Applewood and works with buyers and sellers throughout metro-Denver.
Describing herself as a concerned professional with integrity, Emge knows that being a REALTOR is no halfhearted endeavor.

"I work hard," she says. "I really like to get my clients the best deal."

When not working, Emge is a volunteer for the Colorado Historical Society for which she leads tours of the Governor's Mansion in downtown Denver. She also enjoys spending time with her three children and three grandchildren, who are 1, 3 and 6-years-old.
